I did this before but it was lost in the crash and I just found them again

Both ID's quite easy once you find them. Both from UK gardens!!!

Would that be your garden? Very nice, as for the birds - perhaps Yellow-browed Warbler and Hoopoe?

I would say that there's a Pallas's right in the middle of the first picture and a Hoopoe to the right of the second. Presumably in your garden Jane you lucky moo ;)

The Bird!

This is what I thought it looked like at first, a Ring-tailed Lemur.

Seeing two things in one figure is an old trick, so the lemur head, and a bit of it´s tail tip above the head is acually the Hoopoe´s crest and the little arms are the Hoopoe´s eyes, and below that are the bill and it´s body, which all gives me a Hoopoe. Does that make any sense?

I try to get the id's when they are posted but usualy, I get them wrong all the time. :-C However, this time, it is even worse, I cannot even see the bird which is a bit of a handicap when trying to do an id. However, I can see the dog with the small head but to me it has only one ear and in the dogs eight o'clock I can see a teddy bear head with one eye! Oh well, I will go back to watching all the other experts get the id's spot on after all I am.......
