Nikon Fieldscope 60mm non_Ed version!

Hello!Have anyone any opinions on this scope?Are they in the same league as the Swarovski-non Ed 65 mm,or Leica´s non-APO 62mm?Wonder because they are a lot cheaper here in Sweden than the others.Another question!Where can you buy the new Nikon FS 50mm?Can+t find any dealers here on Google-search!

Hi. I've got a feeling that the Leica non-APO (and perhaps the standard Swarovski) are both ED glass - the APO version has something extra again (fancy coatings of one kind of another).

That should in theory make them better quality than non-ED scopes.

Having said that, I found my non-ED Kowa 611 to be fine for viewing. I only wanted to upgrade to ED when I started digiscoping.
