Surely the ultimate local patch in the UK?

Two houses are up for let from the National Trust of Scotland.

Wow!

Sadly, I reckon the opportunities on the isle for a software developer / analyst are few and far between... well, OK, non existent! Knitting has never looked like such a good career option.

Wish my knitting experience was more recent...and more than a scarf and a very large jumper!!

Sounds great, CE. As a lad growing up in Stockport I always liked the idea of living in the far north, on a windswept island in the middle of nowhere.... hey whaddya know!

Skill shortage in the building trade, well I'm ok then as a plasterer... except when you've finished doing a few patches in the half dozen houses there and work dries up.. then what? knit a raft and float off somewhere else?
