Do not panic!

I accidentally changed the language on my Canon to Finnish. I got it back OK using the instruction book. I have no experience of Fuji cameras, but it should work OK and here is how I did it:

The menus should be in the same order now (in Japanese) as they were before (in your own language). Follow the instruction book through the menus. You will not understand the language on the camera, but if you count your way through the options you should find your way to the language menu. Once you are in the language menu, try each one until a familiar language appears.

PS If that does not work or if you have no book, go to the Fuji website and download the firmware again. There will be instructions on how to do it – just pick the right firmware for your language.
