In Florida, USA, originally from Zomi (Chin) State, Myanmar

I am in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am originally from Zomi State (also known as Chin State) in Myanmar (formerly known as Burma). Zomi State is in the northwestern part of Myanmar bordering India and Bangladesh. Zomi State is a mountainous region. My hometown, Tedim (also known as Tiddim) is 5667 feet above sea level.

I spent a couple of years in Fort Lauderdale. If you hit Plantation Park, it's a great place to find some Burrowing Owls.

I am new to Florida. A friend told me that he spotted some green doves/pigeons in a park, the name of which I forgot. I will contact him again and go to that park together.

That was inthe early 1970's SarahYes, there are tigers in Zomi State, but I heard that there have been almost no tigers now. While I was in Yangon (formerly called Rangoon), I saw tigers and lions in the Zoo. But that was in 1979 or so. I need to ask friends for that info.
