This is my first post so would like to say hello to everybody.
I have been given a Powershot S70 I have not done digi scoping before, but would this camara be suitable, and if so what adapters if any would I need ?

Welcome to BirdForum. :hi:

I have the Canon PowerShot S60 which is identical to the S70 except for its smaller 5MP sensor. I have combined it with the Swarovski ATS 80 HD 'scope and have had some very pleasing results (along with the usual dreadful results |=)| ).

Canon sell what they call a Conversion Lens Adaptor (LA-DC10) specifically for this camera ($45 in Australia, probably cheaper elsewhere). This adaptor has a standard 37mm threaded end to which you to attach the camera-to-scope adaptor. The type of camera-to-scope adaptor you need will, of course, depend on the brand and model of 'scope you have, but bear in mind that it will ultimately have to match the 37mm thread on the camera.
