Hi All,
I was at Shingle Street this morning looking for SEO unfortunatly no sign.

But did see a flock of 50+ Goldfinches, 20 Skylarks, 8 Magpies, a Kestrel and a Marsh Harrier, plus the odd Wood Pigeon and Rook.

Regards

Rob

I noticed recently on RBA a count of 5 shorties at Shingle street, so its obviously a hot spot. Maybe the afternoon would prove productive? any birders here know much about Shingle street?

Hi,
I was there last week and saw 3 short ears from about 5pm. There are at least a couple there all winter usually. Best time for me has been the last hour or so of daylight.
As you come in to SS there is a car park on the left before the first houses. Scan the fields across the road and you should have a good chance.
Always worth a walk along the beach and on the path from the car-park going away from the houses. Snow Buntings are regulars
