I'm looking to replace the rechargeable batteries for our camera, and a lot of the options I'm seeing have more capacity (e.g. 2500 mAh) than the ones we're using now (1600 mAh). Will the batteries with more mAh work correctly with our camera?
Thanks,

Yeah, no problem Chris - the highter rating just means more time between recharges (assuming of course that they're the same size of battery! ;))

Rule of thumb: there are only a small number of battery manufacturers and they only make a limited set of different-rated batteries. Almost everything you see in the shops will be, despite all the different brands and ratings and prices, selections from just three or so different batteries. You can get a given unit badged five different ways by six different companies with three different mAh ratings. In short, if the rating seems a bit high for the price, it quite likely is.
