Is focusing on a street light at night a good test for the flare baffling ability of a binocular?
Under these conditions my Leica Duovid 42 displays an exaggerated haze of light around the light source at both magnifications and in both barrels.
My Swarovski EL 10x42 and Zeiss FL 10x32 don't do that.
Is Leica's flare baffling particularly bad, or is this an invalid test?
