I have a Nikon ed78. Does anyone know if the stay on case for the ed82 will fit the ed78?

On the angled scope, it does not. I have tried this. About the straight scopes I do not know, but suspect it very well might. The ED 78A had a slightly larger prism housing than the ED 82A, and the new model's case would not stretch over it.

While on the theme, anyone know where I can pick-up a stay on case for the ED82a? Here in Spain it is impossible to find.
