Hi there
I've just registered and I thought I'd let you all know about an adult female kestrel that I rescued, fed and released yesterday. She had landed in my garden was very cold, very hungry and tired from the atrocious weather we've had recently. I phoned a local animal sanctuary and they gave me advice about how to help her. I fed her raw chicken, kept her overnight in a large guinea pig cage, making sure she had plenty of perches and fresh water. I fed her again and released her yesterday. What a buzz, I know that's a once in a lifetime experience and it was a delight to see her fly away!!!
