I have had excellent service from Eagle Optics and Optics4Birding in the past, and am looking at a possible purchase through the Birdwatching.com online store. Any comments from anyone that had dealings with them? I would like a heads up on their service. Thanks!

I've mentioned this before (elsewhere) but I purchased my Zeiss 85T*FL from the Porter's at Birdwatching.com on a Saturday. Diane called me back that afternoon to verify my order (angled v. straight, silver v. green, etc.) and had it shipped to me that afternoon so that I could have it for a trip on Tuesday. I will order from them again without hesitation.

You'll find that they are just as reliable and reputable as Eagle or Optics4Birding. However I have never tried to return anything to them or get them to honor a warranty which Eagle is supurb at.

They're excellent; knowledgable and friendly to deal with. Diane is an experienced birder who tells it like it is. You can't go wrong dealing with them.
