Thought I'd assign the blame equally ;)

This is the type of shot I missed taking dearly while I was busy honing my skills at digiscoping. Sooooo, it seems only fair to blame this guy/gal for my latest expenditure of my new dslr and various lenses ;) Unfortunately, it was an extremely overcast day.

Lovely shot KC. I particularly like the way the light is shining through the feathers :t:

I looked in your gallery in WPF for this to comment there. NO PIC !!!
Given the short time you have been usng a DSLR, this is one that most oldies would be ' dead chuffed ' to have got. An inspiration to all new starters in DSLR photography.

Thanks everyone ;)

Don, coming from you that means a lot. Thanks.

We are trying to keep the birds here on this Forum and hopefully all other photography on WPF. My biggest hurdle now is to channel my vision in other places other than wildlife. ;)

Very nice pic - when I was learning about bird photography (still am) a chap told me he got his best in flight pics by lying on his back.

Just shows that you don't need hyper-expensive gear to get great shots. With shots like that, it doesn't matter if you get fifty dud ones. You certainly wouldn't have been able to digiscope it, would ya?!

Very nice. You've inspired me to get out more and shhot more - rather been neglacting the photography recently (keep taking the camera and coming back having not taken a single picture!)
