help ef 500 f4.5 l usm

hello to all does any one now if ef 500mm f4.5 l usm lens
can be repaired or serviced or has servicable parts to bye
cant get any referance to year this lens was not in production.
any help would ease my mind

if this an L lens most local repair shops will send it to Canon for repair.

cheers rob there was one on ebay last night ended at 11.15 ive mist it now but the lens in question did not work. it went for £259.00 i am sick

I saw that too. Looked pretty beat up. I'd be intrigued to know if the guy who got it manages to get it fixed!

Try H.Lehmann Ltd. 01782 413611.They are based in Stoke on Trent.They are reasonable in price and their work is of the highest quality.They have just re built and repaired my 100-400 lens,and returned it with a 6 mth warranty.
