Help with new Bins?

Hello all,
I'm new to the forum so feel a bit cheeky launching straight in with a request for help...!
I am looking for a new pair of binoculars, I have a nice pair of Opticron HR 8x42 which have given me stirling service and live in the car but I now also want a pair of x10 ...
I have approx £150 to spend and am in UK.
Any recommendations anyone?

do you prefer roofs or Porros?

Nikon Sporter 1s - £109 from w/exppress - roofs
Opticron Imagic TGA - porro
Opticron Discovery - roofs
Viking Vistron - roofs

all have something to commend them. Out of interest why a pair of 8's and 10's??

Good plan, I also settled on one pair 10x and one 8x. Both are with me on birding trips, I can change during the day as the situation requires. With porros, about 8x40 is a good starting point. The 10x is trickier, but the Sporters will work.
