This bird (a juvenile) was photographed in the Swiss Alps in early August at 5500 ft. altitude but could have been somewhere else (in Northern German lowlands....)!
SO WHAT IS IT?

How about Fieldfare? I think I can detect a rusty back and greyish rump as well as a dark tail.

I would agree with Darrell that it seems to be a Fieldfare.
