Hello. My name is Myrton. I am a casual birder as is my wife.
Now my son's are 12 and 15 years and they are becomming more and more involved in helping with our sanctuary as we provide food, water and shelter and if needed medical assistance.

I am glad I found this group and hope that I will not see here what I am seeing in some of the news groups.

I truly treasure what I have, life, liberty and freedom.

It is indeed a privilige and pleasure to be able to participate in so many hobbies.

Please, be patient with me, I am a bit slow at times (most of the time). If I can be of assistance to anyone in the Rhode Island area, please let me know.

"Find solutions, not fault."

Hi Myrton

welcome to the birdforum, I've four kids and one on the way, they are too young to participate in the birding activities but they do like their wildlife, my eldest will be 6 in July so hopefully she'll become more aware of wildlife, I'll certainly encourage them to do so

A warm welcome to you Myrton. I can say with some assurety that you will find this fast becoming a home away from home. It's wonderful to hear that you have fostered your love of nature in your children. I hope we hear all about the birds in your area. You must get some wonderful water birds.

Myton: great to have you with us, and we look forward to reading your posts in future. Why don't you tell us a little about your birding activities and whether or not you take photographs?

Have fun on BF!

Hello Myrton-I'm new here too and look forward to seeing your posts of birds I rarely or never see in Michigan! I guess we'll be getting to know this forum together!:)
