Dinham Flats, Camel Estuary

I sometimes go down to the Camel Estuary and view the birds from the comfort of the hide at Burniere Point. I can see Dinham Flats in the distance but I am wondering if anybody knows how you get close enough to be able to identify all the birds that use the Flats. Today on the Pager there was an Iceland Gull there and a 1st winter Yellow-legged Gull reported there so either a local has special access across private land or I am missing something. Roger

Drive northwest from Wadebridge on the B3314 through Trewornan and a quarter of a mile past Gutt Bridge turn left and continue for about 500 yards. A footpath on the left leads to Dinham Creek.

Thanks for that Darrell, I will give it a try when I am down that way again next month. I have had a key to the Burniere Hide since it was erected and in all the times that I have been there I think I have only had to share the hide three or four times.
I recall Andrew gave the new site guide a plug a few months back but I thought I knew Cornwall too well to need it, perhaps I will send off for a copy now. Roger
