...just another gull, but which???? Got him in Arctic Norway in July.

1st-summer(2nd calendar year) Glaucous Gull.

On re-examining the photo,the primaries seem to be brownish?This would make an identification of Herring x Glaucous hybrid more likely,unless this is a trick of the light.Structurally most like Glaucous,maybe a backcross between Glaucous and a Glaucous x Herring hybrid?
