Hello fellow Nikonians. I recently made a purchase on a Nikon D50 body. So now I need a lens for it, a begginer's lens mind you. I thought maybe I might get this one:

Thanks

Look for the APO macro super II version. It's better optically.

Hey Ben, I got the same exact lens as my first lens. Let me tell you that you will most certainly not be discouraged or unhappy with this lens. I know there are several others just like it, like tamron, but this is the one to go with for sure. I highly recommend this lens for a great starter lens (and even professional lens) for around $100. As for the APO lens, I don't know much about it, or can even find it, but this lens has the best quality. I can e-mail you or show you some pictures I have taken with that lens on a D70. This lens really gets the job done. How this was help!
