Does anyone have one of these?

Warehouse express is doing a deal at the mo, £299 inc. stay on case.

What are the HR lenses like, and are they suitable for specs wearers, is the 30x a good all rounder? lots of questions..

Chears for replies.

Unfortunatly out of my price range - otherwise I'd get a senond hand leica for that. £300 is about my max (my other half and I are going halves on one).

Just wondering what they are like in terms of image quality, and how they compare to say, the newer GS 665 scope with similar lens (can always upgrade the lens at a later date, maybe for a zoom etc.)

although i've never looked through the HR66 i do have an old opticron piccalo
50mm scope that i can get a reasonable, very usable image out of using the old metric zoon up to 40 times magnification.

you could always cancel you order if you did'nt like it,i did this with warehouse express three years ago and exchanged my order for a pair of leica bins, they were fine!

hdf eyepieces seem to be readily available secondhand from infocus, ace optics etc.
