So I am having trouble with my Nikon N60...I am beginning to hate it.
And I just found out that it was discontinued a month before it was given to me on my birthday. I am getting an ERR signal on it and now the shutter won't even open after the last picture I took. I am taking it to the 'shop', but I don't think the women there will be able to figure it out. Errg, I say, errg.
I like film cameras because of the work I do with the shots I take. I like to have 'hard copy' records so I am not running back and forth to my computer for inspiration...I also don't like computer printed film.
So, could anyone point me in a couple of directions to where I should start looking for a new camera?
And I am taking photos of birds, of course, so I will need a telephoto lens that is compatible.
Thank goodness for tax refunds...and I guess thank goodness, I am so poor, so that I get tax refunds...
Best

I also have a Pentax K1000 and Minolta SRT 201...totally old school and reliable...thinking maybe I should stick with them and find lenses that are compatible.
