Hi
I want to buy a new camera to try hand held digiscoping with a Kowa TSN661.I need it to be at least 6mp and have an SD card.Any suggestions.

Have a look at the newer Sony's ( W7,N1,W100 )and Fuji (F10,F11 ). Neil.

The Sonys and Fujis are very good but they don't have SD cards.
Some image stabilized models like the Nikon P4, Canon SD700, Panasonic FX9 or FX01 could also be worth testing. The Canon A620 also seems to work handheld.

I should forget the A620, it's very limited in what zoom you can use, hand held or with a swing-out adaptor, there are much easier cameras to digiscope with. Saying that, if it had a 3x lens like the A95 it would be brilliant.

John I think you may be jumping the gun a little. The A620 works fine for me at most of the zooms, all my shots are hand held. But I do appreciate that it may not work well with some equipment.
