Hi All
Looking for some help and advice
I am looking to do some digiscope photography, my main photography is done with digital canon camera with 500mm lens
I have a Kowa TSN 823 scope with 32x eyepiece
Having talked to people in the optics shop they are recommending a Samsung i5,
Can anyone tell me if this is a good camera for the job, or just sales talk,
I need a camera that will give good quality images as I print some of my pictures up to A4 size
I would valve any advice you can give or help on a better camera if needed.
I don't mind spending some money, the importnat thing is image quality
Thanks
Mick

Hi Mick I have been using a Sony cybershot P200 for about 3 months or more now. I think its an excellent bit of kit, it is 7.2 megapixels so large prints would not be a problem. For a good review of the camera check out the imaging-resource website. How it would match up to your scopes eyepiece & perform as regards vignetting is another thing though. I use mine with a 20-60 zoom lens on a Swarowski scope, and the image is vignetted? until 1.7-1.9 on optical zoom is reached , although i have never found it to be a problem as i tend to use more zoom than this anyway,
