I don't see ED glass being used in these low power optics. Too bad. The rest seems rather conventional.

It was rather odd to read "special glass." I don't know what that means.

Alan,

Perhaps they mean a special eco-friendly glass? Schott seems to be a major player in that arena, so it may be worth keeping an eye on.
