I don't know if it's the right place...but I suggest a Manfrotto or a Gitzo tripod.
Any tripod will do - but it needs to be able to carry at least 6kg of equipment (that's my rule of the thumb).
There are Aluminum tripods and Carbon fiber tripods. The latter are lighter but more expensive.

Thanks the ones on the manfroto website say max 4Kg - any ideas?
