brand new to digiscoping just purchased a coolpix 4500 and an LCE adaptor for my kowa 821 32xwa, any ideas what kind of results I can expect with this setup, im going out for the first time tomorrow to give it a whirl!!! although I have used a kowa slr adaptor for years,sometimes with farly decent results..

I have the Kowa 823 32x which I use with the Nikon 4500. I should think you should be able to get some pretty good results. Don't be disheartened if the initial results aren't what you hoped, it really does need a good bit of practice.

Have a look at Andy Bright's tips on settings for the CP4500, they're a boon for eting off o a flying start. I find I get best results using the camera at about 3x zoom as opposed to the whole 4x.
