A recent walk produced the turf dwelling puffball Bovista plumbea. Often found on the sandy soil of coastal Denes it can be identified by the fact that it grows on wobbly lines along the ground.
The fruiting bodies are white & about 1" in diameter.

Although it is very dry for many agarics there are the micro fungi on plants & other substrates to study at the moment.
