just rebuilding my garden, any advise on plants etc to help the birds please . i have several feeders and a table and bath for the birds, we have red poll various tits and the odd nut hatch , siskin and 2 collard doves that visit reguarly. we have put in a large deck and the garden will be sandstone gravel with a central water feature , there will be only 2 boarders for planting as i hate gardening. so i would like to plant them wisely to the advantage of the birds. cheers ash. :t:

I believe teasels are meant to attract goldfinches. Holly berries are also popular if you have room.

Hi,
I'm obviuosly not sure of the space you have, but you could get some ideas for wildlife friendly plants from this RSPB link:
http://www.rspb.org.uk/gardens/guide/plants/index.asp
Hope that helps a bit.
