having just bought a sony f828 from that well known auction site ( i got a case of bid fever),has anyone used one for digiscoping?if so what adaptors are needed, camera settings etc, I have a Leica apo77 with x20,x40 and 20-60zoom eyepieces, which i currently use with a sony w5(not with the zoom I mihght add as the image never seems as clear as using the other eyepieces).
I bought it because i wanted a camera that was a 'bit more' and it has a swivel body/lense similar to the coolpix4500/995.any hints or advice will be greatly appreciated.thanks.

I don't think you'll have much luck with the 828 for digiscoping due to the 7x zoom. You want to have a 3 or 4 x zoom for the best of digiscoping. I would stick with the W5 for digiscoping and keep the 828 for other photography or large birds that come close.Neil.
