Help required

I need help with my Coolpix 4500.

I know there's a way to stop the camera from turning itself off when the camera's inactive but i've lost my manual and I can't remember how it's done.

I've also searched through the menus for something that could be it and drawn a blank.

Can someone tell me please?

You can't stop it all together but you can set it to 30 minutes before it turns off.

Switch camera on. Press the menu button. Press the four way toggle to the right to enter the SET-UP menu. Toggle down to select Auto Off and select 30 minutes.

Thanks Andy I've just downloaded it, all 178 pages.

The printer's got a fair bit of work ahead, even if I only print the important stuff. :t:
