Recommends please for Northumberland

Hi all,
Myself and my family that is my wife and our 5 kids are going for a weeks holiday at beadnel on the 26th of this month ( August) 2006.

Want to get on the Farn Islands fingers crossed.
Anmy recommends for things to visit, dont have to be bird relanted.

Will be going to Alnwick Gardens, Now the Gardens are prety much done.
We were there a few years back when they were starting work on them and met Charlie Dimmocks.
Very Nice Lady.

For family - Paxton House (towards Berwick) is worth visiting for the family - "fancy house" plus nice woodland walk / nature trail and a great adventure playground.

Good time of year to be in the area!! Enjoy your stay.
