Just had a look at Natural Born Birder sight and noted he used a stick thing to rest his bins on whilst sea watching.
Good idea I thowt.
Has anyone made the perfect one themselves? Is one available ready made for us lazy bones?

I have rigged my self one up over the weekend.Out of 8 gun dealers in Lincolnshire only one sold rifle supports. What does that say about the shooters in lincs???
For 15 pound(27 dollar) I've got a strong lightweight rifle rest.
I've taped pinewood ,cut to the binoculars hinge seperation,to the 'V' rest.
The binos clamp around this wood but rest on the hinges(Swaro els);the focus wheel is free to turn.
It works fine.
It is more comfortable to stand, kneel or sit with my hands waist/chest high.
The leg is twist and turn and there is a comfy hand grip.Holding the leg like you would a flute,it takes a roll of the fingers to scan left or right.
I have not mastered looking skyward yet!Looking down needs only a step forward.

I think a series of 'photo's might help us onlookers to visualise, Eric ...
