Hi all,
given the current airline restrictions on hand luggage and the possibilty that things might not improve, I'm thinking of getting a flight-case for our camera gear:

2x Canon bodies (possibly 3),
2x 100-400IS lenses &
1 std. lens.
We'll shove chargers, memory cards, Flashtrax etc in with our clothes.
Trouble is, none of the websites I've looked at are particularly clear as to what each case will take.
Budget isn't a major issue, but I'd rather not have go over a couple of hundred quid.
What do you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Chris

I get mine hand-made to my exact specifications by these people (http://www.adlibaudio.co.uk/audio/flightcasing.php). Bespoke, to my exact spec. Latest one has an inbuilt audio motion alarm that I can set if ever I put it down in an airport, etc. Would be at the top end of your budget but you'll get EXACTLY what you want. I use them for other kit than cameras, and I think you might have to work with them a bit to get the cutaways to be a perfect fit if that's what you're after, but in 20 years of buying in bespoke flightcasing for a number of weird applications they're as good as I've ever worked with. If you go down this route drop me an IM.
