Nikon P1

Anyone any comments on the Nikon P1 compact digital as a digiscoping camera. Does feature aperture priority which should be a bonus for bird photogrpahy??

Yes it have the Aperture priority. You can see in my picture gallery some picture sample taken with the P1 and the 82mm scope and 30X DS eyepiece. Also take a look at the thread "coolpix P series" in digiscoping section (camera for digiscoping).

I have the P1 attached to my scope as Avian does and I love it. The camera has wireless stuff that I do not need. I wish Nikon would make a model just for digiscoping. A very simple camera that you don't have to outguess. Of course then that would make digiscoping too easy???
