It would be great if it were true! However once people start getting money they rarely decide to stop. Even if ad revenues covered all the costs, nobody is going to willingly stop taking peoples money.

Good news is, it will be going free.... because of this, wildissues.tv is undergoing a bit of redevelopment. Watch out for an announcement soon.

Since it's a new year i'll gently ask again. Is there any news on this? Will wildissues still be a payment "webtv", lower price, or go completely free?
I'm trying to set a budget to see if i can afford this...I really want to subscribe, but since I read the news about wildissues going completely free of charge i've decided to wait. It just would be nice to know how the process is going.
If it's not I'll still gladly pay.
Thnx

I have my home PC undergoing a change of video card, a reinstallation of the sound card in addition to the boost in RAM it underwent last month, all in the hope of viewing such delights as may be held within the Wild Issues TV vaults! ;)

You can see it when we have made a decision on whether the Petra and other charity and conservation issues should stay on the channel, I have been looking at the clips for the last few days and they make for horrendous Viewing. When this is decided,we will open the TV station to the public.

Wednesday 7th March 2007, 21:12
It is basically an online 'television channel' that shows wildlife and birding documentaries. It is actually... quite good and hopefully it will be going free, soon. I think there is an intro to it in the main wildissues tv forum if you want to know more. it is www.wildissues.tv (http://www.wildissues.tv) .Can anyone explain what is WILD ISSUES TV all about and how do you go about watching it.

Ok Here is a Preview but be WARNED we are still editing the TV station and have left in some of the charity and organisation clips. Dont ask, its political and I am in on going discussion with many people.
If you dont like animal suffering (and lets face it a normal, balanced, sane, human being wont)THEN DONT WATCH THAT CHANNEL

We should be ready for the final release this month.
Thanks

I can't get it to play in Mozilla, although it's fine in MS Explorer - is that to be expected, or is it something odd that Mozilla is doing?
More to the point, though, the content is superb. Congratulations!

Great to see it now works perfectly on my Mac. I now need to spend less time on here and more time on video editing! I think the shorter clips work best until such time when fast-forward streaming is possible.....
Well done to all involved, the future is here.
