Canon on Photokina

Hi all,

obviously there are no new bodies presented from Canon on Photokina, all speculations have been in vain :h?:

They have only presented some new compact cameras, a mobile storage device, and the lenses 70-200/4 and 50mm/1.2, thats all. Somebody I know talked to the CEO of Canon Sweden, and he said there will be no new pro-bodies in 2006.

Good thing is of course, that no one will be tempted to spend a small fortune on a new 20+ MP body. |;|

The 400D was released before Photokina.

Don't know about this forum, but on other sites there has been kilometer long speculation threads about what new pro-bodies Canon are going to announce at Photokina. Now we know that there will be no more bodies released this year.
