A question of glass

Playing around this afternoon and I took this shot which is nothing to shout about but considering the amount of glass involved I think the quality is quite good. Just shows how good the modern day lens is.
1) Taken through a double glazed window from about 40 feet
2) Used a 1.4 tc
3) Had a uv filter on the lens
BTW the lens is 400mm f5.6

Amazingly good result. Perhaps the answer to all those people that say that UV filters ruin their shots is for them to add a double-glazed window in front of the filter!
