Don't have this myself, but

African Bird Sounds Vol. 1 & 2
The most ambitious bird sound publication ever - a total of 3,200 recordings of 1,466 species. These long-awaited CDs of Birds of North, West and Central Africa compiled by Dr. Claude Chappuis are published by the Société Ornithologiques de France in collaboration with The British Library Sound Archive.

would seem to fit the bill?
