EOS 300d - bargain?

Someone's offering a EOS 300D for £245 with 18-55 mm lens, all boxed as new.
Is that any good?
Can't get it myself, but I know someone else who might.

I bought a slightly tatty one for £200 a few weeks ago and I am pleased with it, so yes it looks like a good deal to me!

Sounds good to me. I paid £290 for a Digital Rebel (300D) with 18-55 ES Lens AND a Canon 100-300 lens.
All work perfectly and I am very pleased.

i paid £200 for the 300d kit.all the leads etc were still sealed in the bags.immaculate!like new.all that plus a 6 month warranty.yours also sounds like a bargain.i have seen them go on ebay for £250 for just the body with no lenses or leads.
