Dear Friends,
I recently put the camera lens (zoomed) of a Motorola E770v mobile telephone against the 60X (zoom) eyepiece of a Kowa 824 and was greatly surprised by the quality of the photo as viewed on the telephone.
For bird identification, compared to using the Coolpix 4500, it was simplicity personified. The disadvantage was of course the low resolution but, with the introduction of high resolution mobiles such as the Nokia 93, I wonder if mobilescoping will replace digiscoping, at least, for identification purposes.
Any views, or comments?
Regards
