I forgot all about the 2007 new year lists. I managed a stint in Norfolk at the start of the year plus a few hours at Slimbridge the following week. Last weekend saw me stay local all of which produced a start of 118 birds. Highlights were:

Shorelark and Snow Bunting at Caister. Crane, Barn Owl & Hen Harrier at Stubbs Mill. Waxwings at Cromer, Golden Pheasant at Wolferton, Water Rail (3 seperate sites), a flock of 50 Woodlarks near Lynford Arboretum, Cetti's at Brandon Marsh, Bearded Tit at Titchwell, Tawny Owl (undisclosed site) and Brambling at Santon Downham and also near Wells. Plus Black Brant at Holkham, Greenland White front at Lea Marston.
