Someone at Potteric Carr today had a fantastic looking bean bag to rest his lens on. However, it wasn't a bean bag it was a support for a rifle that he got from an american company.
It looked the buisness so I am wondering where I can get my hands on a decent bean bag.
I couldn't make one....no patience for that.

It requires no patience at all: go to the store, get a bag of uncooked beans, and put it inside a ziploc. Works like a charm, and should you ever get stranded out there watching geese, you'll have supper!

Try either Warehouse Express (http://www.warehouseexpress.com) or Mike Lane (http://www.nature-photography.co.uk/Grippabags.htm).
Two very similar bean bags that should do the trick
