Telescope comparison

Hi All,

I just noticed that a Finnish digiscoping pioneer Arto Juvonen has made a very useful comparison of the most common digiscope-setups. The camera was Coolpix 4500 and the adapter made by Fotofennica (= Spidertech ?). The tested scopes were from Swaro, Leica, Nikon, Opticron, Zeiss and Kowa.

The page is mostly in Finnish (may be updated later in English?), but the images are quite self-explanatory. This was the first part of the test series and was mainly for comparing the amount of vignetting using the minimum camera zoom.

And I thought nobody would ever reply to that post :t:. Arto Juvonen's (Andy Bright in Finnish) current link is here http://www.digiscoping.fi/kaukoputkitesti/minzoom.html. It was labeled as "Scope test part 1", but no further parts seem to have appeared - lots of fantastic bird photography here http://www.birdphoto.fi instead.
