Is this camera any good for digiscoping?

Surely the anti-shake function would be a useful feature?

I see you got no replies on this one, how does the A20 compare to the M20 (which you can pick up for less than £70)?

Most of these little digicams with 38 - 112 mm lenses (3x) will give reasonable results with an average eyepiece. I'm not sure that 10 megs are necessary as it's tends to slow everything down and fill up memory very fast. The Casios give excellent results and are priced well , but have a look at the older model Sonys that have lens threads for their adapters as they have an excellent Zeiss lens and bright screens. Hi,

I use the Pentax Optio A20 on a Leica Apo 77 Scope. No vignetting at all at various magnifications when used with the Leica adapter.
Chose the camera because of remote control possibility. Has got good features to choose manually. Unfortunately, only ISO 100 and 200 produce acceptable results and the shutter lag and remote are quite slow.
Otherwise very handy, but I would not buy it again since it is simply too slow.
