I'm currently teaching myself UK gulls and warblers. I was wondering if anyone had the time and inclination to put together a gull and warbler quiz as it would be a great help to me (and of course fun for everyone else... ;))

I'm currently teaching myself UK gulls and warblers. I was wondering if anyone had the time and inclination to put together a gull and warbler quiz as it would be a great help to me (and of course fun for everyone else... ;))

One thing you can do is quiz yourself using the id requests in the 'bird id q and a' section (you can probably also narrow it down by typing eg 'warbler' or 'gull' in the search 'bird id q and a' thread option on the right). When you open up the new thread, ensure you can only see the first post where the question is being posed, look at the thumbnail and pic yourself and see what you make of it, before scrolling down to see what the experts make of it and why! (No cheating of course!)

Although of course, a specific quiz or two would be fun. (Have you checked there aren't any yet in the fun and quizzes section?)

ps nothing beats actually going out and looking at the birds either! ok more possibility with the gulls at the mo. . .
