Not sure what you're asking. List of birds from the Botanical Gardens in Port-of-Spain? Plants that would attract birds if planted in a Trinidad garden? Please clarify.

Depends a bit on where you live in Trinidad and what birds you want to attract. If in northern range, check out what is planted in Asa Wright or Pax Vale. The guides in Asa Wright can help a lot.
If in Central but very inland, then cherry trees, carille (small type), bird pepper, poui, samaan, mango will attract standard tanagers etc.
If in Central but close to the swamp, wouldn't hurt to have cattail grass, mangrove, scrub, also there is a purple and green plant that grows about 3 feet tall on the edge of marshes that attracts hummingbirds - don't know what it's called though but can be found in Cacandee and Sumaria Trace.
Again, all depends on where you live and how close to forest / mangrove / nature in general you are.

rka,
I'm in Princes Town close to nature but not so close to mangrove and forest. There are at least 4 species of hummingbirds I have seen and here is a list of other birds in the area:
keskidee
brown dove
blue jean
banaquit
turquoise tanager
woodpecker (large and small)
yellow tail corn birds
wrens
rufous browed peppershrike
parrots
parakeet
chicken hawks (as they are called locally)
Grey hawk
The mango tree is indeed pretty busy with some of them as well as the bamboo patch. These days the migratory brazilian bird (brazilian pico I think) is also occupying the bamboo these days as well.
I know these locals are already attracted to the surroundings but how can I attract more or encourage more species?
