I would like to use my Canon 3s is with Zeiss 85 angled scope. I have the bulky Zeiss adapter but it is most cumbersome to use. What are some other options. Thanks and Cheers. TVW

Hi TVW,

Plenty of people are using the Zeiss 85mm scope as it's one of the top ones for digiscoping.

The Canon S3 though isn't an ideal camera for digiscoping. It's a simialr design to m Olympus C2100UZ. The lens diameter is a bit too wide for scope eyepieces so vignetting is a big problem. The camera has a 12x zoom so the vignetting can be zoomed out however this amount of magnification is far too much ofr the scope optics leading to very soft fuzzy and grainy images.

A small compact camera with 3x - 4x optical zoom at most is far better for digiscoping.
