Just got the Extend-a-View and am excited about using it on my cp4500. Just curious, though, about the way most of you mount the unit on your camera. It comes with a velcro strip, a piece of non-skid rubber and a lanyard if you want to have it dangling from the camera. What seems to work best?

Thanks in advance ...

When I got mine, I also wanted the cable release arm so I got the whole kit 'n kaboodle. Works great except when I first assembled it, the extend-a-view portion didn't want to go flush down to the LCD so I ended up removing 1 rubber strip from it, the one on the left (the side that pivots), and now it fits great and the left side doesn't hit the camera, there's still a crack of clearance there.
Overall I very satisfied with the whole assembly.
Good luck with yours and your pictures...:bounce:

I attach the Extend-a-view pro via a single strip of velcro above the monitor. If, like myself, you often walk around with the camera attached to the scope, it may be an idea to put the extend-a-view in a pocket as it can get knocked off the camera (twigs and suchlike) if using a bit of velcro.

Andy

Velcro trimmed to 3mm and glued around three sides for me.
