Is this Wilson's phalarope or another type? It is darker than the last time I saw Wilson's phalarope.

Don't remember the relative frequencies of the 3 phalaropes there, but this one sure looks like a Red-necked-- thin bill but shorter than Wilson's, remnant of russet streaking on dark back, heavy eyepatch.

It certainly is a Red Necked Phalarope as Charles says bill shorter than Wilsons but thinner than Grey/Red Phalarope.

It's a juvenile Red-necked just beginning to moult to first-winter (a couple of new grey scapulars are visible)
